수학경시대회의 등록마감이 4/4(화)까지 연장이 되었습니다.

참가를 계획중이었으나 안타깝게 아직 등록을 하지 못하신 학부모님께서는

이번 NMSC 전체 등록자를 대상으로 추첨을 통해 델타항공에서 한국 왕복항공권 1매가 제공되오니, 이점도 고려하시기 바랍니다.

Thank you for your interests in NMSC and KMSO.

Here is the local information for NMSC on April 8th, 2017 at Queens College (New York Metropolitan chapter).

Date:
April 08, 2017 (Saturday), 2 PM. Recommend to come 1:30 PM.
Registration will take 10~ 20 min.
Qualification:
4th - 11th grade students from the United States (open for everyone in US)
Location:
Queens College, Science Building C205, B137, C201
(Exam room to be assigned at the registration desk on the site.)
Local information
Only Gate #3 is active on event day for cars.
(Most gates are active for walking in)
Use GPS: 153 Reeves Ave, Queens, NY 11367 for Gate #3.

Exam and Duration
Math only:
4-8 grades: 60 min with 30 questions
9-11 grades: 90 min with 30 questions
Others
We will provide everything including pencil, your ID tag… Just get your registration online! (Onsite registration is still valid, but not recommended.)
We will provide Q&A session for parents at Science Building B137.
Score will be posted in website as soon as available. However, over 2000 students will take the exam, so it will take time. We will announce you email when it is available.

National level prizes for math are awarded KSEA Headquarters.

Mathematics Exam Format:
The math competition is a written exam.
It will start 2:00 PM. No calculators or rulers are allowed. It's mix of multiple choice problems and free response problems. No partial credit will be given.
Ties will be broken using the following factors: (A) highest scores on the test, (B) highest scores on free-response problems,
and (C) scores on the selected problems #30, #29 and #28 in that order.
