In cooperation the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology (KEIT), KSEA is conducting a technology demsurveyThe information from this survey will serve as a basis of KEIT’s Request for Proposals (RFP) for the next fiscal yearYour responses will help initiate joint R&D projects between Korea U.Sresearchers.

As a successful case from the past project KEIT, DrChang Yeol Ryu at RPI received KEIT Global R&D grant, which was triggered by the KEIT technical demsurvey forum in UKC 2017 held at Washington DC.  The overall grant from the South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry Energy through KEIT was $4 million the foreign participant, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), will receive $1.4 million for the 4.5-year grant starting July 1, 2018.

This is an excellent opportunity for KSEA members to collaborate Korean colleagues through projects funded by the Korean agenciesPlease join in this opportunity by submitting this survey.

Who may submit:

1) Scientists engineers ONLY who are affiliated a U.Sinstitution
2) Those who are visiting the U.Swhile affiliated a Korean institute are NOT eligible

How to submit:

1) Read the attached instruction fill in your survey in this form

aKorean is preferred language, but you may write in English in the form
bEach person may submit up to two (2) surveys ($100 per survey)

2) Submit the form

bby 5:00pm, May 20, 2019 (proposer’s local time)

Compensation & Benefit:

1) Members who submitted accepted surveys will receive $100 per an accepted survey as a token of appreciation
2) Selected proposers (approximately 20-25) will be included as an expert in the KEIT expert pool for future opportunities

3) Above selected proposers will be asked to participate in the Forum to be hosted by the KEIT during UKC 2019. We request you to register UKC 2019 as a Speaker or Poster presenter to be eligible for a travel support.
