2016 KASBP Spring Symposium

Dear Young Scholars,

Korean American Society in Biotech and Pharmaceuticals (KASBP) announces “2016 KASBP Spring Symposium” to be held on June 10 (Friday) and 11 (Saturday), 2016 at Hilton Boston/Dedham, Dedham, MA. The symposium is sponsored Hanmi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Yuhan Co., Ltd.

The symposium will focus on current trends in drug discovery and development. We also would like to uncover young scientists, recognizing their achievements in biotech and pharmaceutical research. The symposium will also provide a great opportunity for members to establish professional networks in order to share information and experiences in pursuit of excellence in R & D.

One of the highlights of the symposium will be the KASBP-Hanmi and KASBP-Yuhan fellowship for young scholars such as graduate students and post-docs who excel in research. Therefore, KASBP cordially invites all young scholars for submissions of an ABSTRACT and CV (Curriculum Vitae) for the fellowship awards in the 2016 KASBP Spring Symposium according to the following:

Invited Area:

Medical science, biological & pharmaceutical science, organic chemistry, and/or areas related to drug discovery and development

Submissions:

Prospective authors should submit an ABSTRACT (including author’s name, affiliation(s), postal address) and CV. Awardees should give a poster presentation on June 11 (Saturday), 2016. Please indicate whether authors would like to give a poster presentation regardless of award. All authors giving a poster presentation would receive partial support for her/his travel, though not selected as awardees.
